Jussie Smolett-Fyre Fest-Burning Man-Lies-Reality-Bob Davis Podcast 808

These days they don’t teach kids how to tell what’s real and what is not. Adults don’t know how either. Consequently it’s hard to tell what’s reality and what’s a lie. We’ll talk about it in Jussie Smolett-Fyre Fest-Burning Man-Lies-Reality-Bob Davis Podcast 808.

Jussie Smollett

Most noteworthy is  the latest rush to judgement without critical analysis. The story of Jussie Smollett, actor and musician. Smollett received lots of support from the Speaker of The House of the US Congress and many other prominent democrats after he claimed to be the victim of a racially motivated attack. Growing evidence suggests Smollett’s story of what happened on the night of January 29th 2019 might not be credible.

FYRE Fest

Then there is FYRE Fest. Probably the most successful social media scam in history, FYRE Fest is the subject of two competing documentaries. Especially relevant are questions of credibility for both documentaries. What really happened with FYRE Fest? We may never know.

Are You Cool Enough For Burning Man?

My favorite punching bag is Burning Man. Promoted as a haven for artistic and personal freedom, it is anything but. In reality, Burning Man is a dictatorship. People are told how to act and what they can photograph. Tickets are almost impossible to get unless you’re Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk. Or you can gain the favor of so called local ‘burners’. Are you cool enough for Burning Man?

I’ll pass.

Fly Geyser Off Limits

Meanwhile the ‘non profit’ Burning Man organization purchased the Fly Ranch, home to the incredible Fly Geyser. Regular people used to visit the geyser. Not anymore. Burning Man owns it. You can’t see this wonder of the world unless you pay equality advocates at Burning Man.

Russia Today

Finally there is Russia Today or RT. Long known as a propaganda wing of Russia, people are dismayed to find them being deleted from the social media platform everyone loves to hate; FaceBook. Did we forget what the word ‘propaganda’ means?

FoxxConn and Festivals Lies and Damn Lies

In conclusion it doesn’t matter if it’s some silly festival or a Foxxconn plant in Wisconsin. Influentials only pretend to be ‘authentic’ and ‘truthful’.

I guess Grandpa was right. You can’t believe everything you read.

Actually, you can’t believe anything.

Podcast 550-Bob Davis Podcasts Radio Show-44

Podcast 550-Bob Davis Podcasts Radio Show-44. This week it’s been all Hillary All The Time as the media thrives on a new story line. The health of Democratic Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton. In this week’s radio show, two new segments of original content, and two excerpts from the podcasts the previous week as the story broke. From the speculation on social media, to the You Tube conspiracy theories, to the political fall out, to the polls, a comprehensive view of the Hillary Clinton Health Scare, starting with her collapse at the memorial service in New York City on September 11th, 2016, in Podcast 550-Bob Davis Podcasts Radio Show-44. Already a poll of ‘rust belt’ states shows Trump in the lead in Ohio. The poll was taken on the weekend of September 10th on the heels of her ‘deplorables’ comment and the collapse during the 9-11 memorial in New York. The state by state polls already show a tightening race. With 50 days left until the election, it remains to be seen how damaging what happened to Clinton, for whatever reason, will be politically. If the polls show significant damage to the Clinton campaign, the democrats still have time to win the race, if they handle this right, so Republicans counting their chickens might want to be a little less exuberant. On the other hand, this is a race which Clinton has been firmly leading since the conventions in August, so this is a significant development. Unfortunately, the voters will probably never know what ails Clinton because the newspapers and television networks with the resources to investigate this issue, have clearly shown they’re not interested. A day after Clinton was sent home with medications for ‘pneumonia’, the New York Times front page and the Minneapolis Tribune front page didn’t even mention the story. CBS edited out former President Bill Clinton’s comments suggesting Hillary Clinton has fainted ‘frequently’. So, we’ll probably never know what’s wrong with her, win or lose. Meanwhile conspiracy theory You Tubers, websites and radio shows continue to disservice of speculating on her health with diagnoses from charlatan ‘doctors’ on her ‘condition’ based on videos. Is there something wrong with her? Yes. Do we know what it is? No, despite a release of her medical records (probably incomplete) from the campaign. The worst two mainline party candidates in a hundred years continue to battle it out down to the wire when Americans cross their fingers and roll the dice, on November 8th, 2016’s bad bed election. State Governors Revolt. As New York City gets its first Ebola patient, State Governors now want their own protocols for those coming into their states from West Africa. New York, New Jersey, Florida, Illinois and other states may soon put in place screening protocols that are more stringent than what the Federal Government has put in place. Are Governors ahead of the President on this issue? Governors have to be decisive in a crisis rather than contemplative. The White House keeps saying stricter state protocols will mean aid workers won’t be able to go TO West Africa, but the problem is those coming back FROM Ebola stricken areas in West Africa. Could the CDC charter US carriers to take aid workers to Africa and bring them back, with a mandatory 21 day quarantine whether the returnee had Ebola or not? Call it ‘hysteria’ but the fact is, people are concerned. Telling them not to panic isn’t going to stop panic. The President has to act decisively to address this, not with political theater and not by telling people what he’s GOING to do. Would Airlines cease flights from these regions eventually, since they are responsible for their passengers safety? If Obama had been Governor of Illinois, is it possible he would be better equipped to handle this kind of situation? Meanwhile, there are irresponsible ‘journalists’ out there telling stories of Ebola ‘victims’ being ‘disappeared’, with no named sources, no confirmation of stories, or sourced to some other blog or article. On the political front, yet more polls, less than two weeks from Election 2014 announcing Republicans will win control of the US Senate. Polls in key states are tightening. Some states the GOP thought were wins a few weeks ago, are now in play. The same is happening with some democrat races. A new study shows, in statewide races decided within a point, Democrats win two thirds of the time, and for races within 2 to 4 points Democrats win half the time. Not good odds for Republicans in close races. Another concern is that early voting will increase the number of non citizens voting this year. Non citizens usually vote for Democrats. Now, these are wild cards, but take them into considering when everyone in the media is jumping on the Republican ‘wave’ bandwagon. Perhaps the best bellwether is Democrats who are already developing excuse stories. Republicans will win because they are capitalizing on unreasonable hatred of the President. Yet, Obama’s strongest supporters in 2008 and 2012 are suffering the most under his economic and social policies. Americans are not ‘divided’. There’s no ‘all blue’ or ‘all red’, we are divided politically by issue, not party. Republicans could win the Senate. Or not. We won’t know until after people vote on November 4th. Sharyl Atkinsson’s new book is out and it is said she proves bias at the top networks. Or, does she prove management at the big broadcasting companies are cowards? Sponsored by X Government Cars
