Finally the fact is the ego wants gratification, material success, power and recognition. Not all of that is bad necessarily. But, the authentic self doesn’t need any of those things.

In conclusion yogis will ‘get it’. I wonder whether political people will.

Auerbach does not agree. He says if Americans would spend time in a sauna the way Finns do, we’d be able to process our lives more efficiently and be happier. The sauna is an excellent tool for processing.

Finally up here in the far north we love our cold weather climate. With an ethnic history of families who came here from Northern Europe, the similarities between life in the arctic circle and Minnesota can be a little daunting.
