July 27th 2018-World Ends-Again-You Tube Despair-Bob Davis Podcast 741

A big lunar eclipse at the end of July has the doom merchants on You Tube pumping out despair. Again. Seems like I need to do a round up of these alerts of impending doom more often these days. Find out why in July 27th 2018-World Ends-Again-You Tube Despair-Bob Davis Podcast 741.

You Tube Is The Place For All Your Doom Needs

In this podcast I share some excerpts from videos that have become an increasing part of my You Tube viewing experience. Almost all of them are unpredictable and unique in their own way.

Beautiful Summer Days Mean The End Is Near

Especially relevant is the quality of these beautiful summer days we are having. Blue skies. Billowing white clouds. Pure sunshine. You probably think there’s nothing to complain about right?

Look Out! Volcanoes and Earthquakes Ahead!

If you didn’t have You Tube, FaceBook, Twitter, or the Internet in general you wouldn’t know it’s all coming to an end. Volcanoes. Earthquakes. Axis shift. Changes in our energy field. Consequently there’s plenty of be in despair about. Apparently. Check it out in July 27th 2018-World Ends-Again-You Tube Despair-Bob Davis Podcast 741.

Message In A Parking Lot

A message on the back of an SUV in a Whole Foods inspired this podcast. The message said the world is so hateful and cruel it’s understandable some people would want to die rather than become themselves. Really? It all depends on how you look that things.

Longest Lunar Eclipse In A Century

Above all, on July 27th, 2018 parts of Asia, Europe, Africa and the Australia will get to see the longest lasting lunar eclipse in more than a century. Refracted light from the sun, as the earth passes in front of the moon, will turn the moon a dark orange or red color. This is called a ‘blood moon’.

The Blood Moon What?

This blood moon signals the end. What is the blood moon prophecy?

Finally, religion. astrology, metaphysics these days all seem to rely on fear.

Yes You Can Overcome

In conclusion all this fear mongering adds to the unwarranted sense of despair some people have. It’s important we hear that we can overcome adversity and meet challenges. Many have done more with less.

Kicked Out-‘Pan O Prog’ Parade-Teaching Podcasting-Bob Davis Podcast 740

Summer in Minnesota means small town parades. For Mobile Podcast Command this summer also means getting kicked out of a parade. Find out how and why in Kicked Out-‘Pan O Prog’ Parade-Teaching Podcasting-Bob Davis Podcast 740.

A Minnesota Classic

The Bob Davis Podcasts has been part of a classic Minnesota small town parade for years. This year the Pan-o-Prog parade added itself to the prestigious list of places and events this podcaster has been kicked out of. That experience is the most noteworthy part of this podcast.

Podcasters Get No Respect

Above all in a free wheeling and fun podcast with one of my best friends, I’ll give you the low down.

Moreover I never sweat it. We podcasters get no respect. Not like traditional broadcast vehicles. Even more that’s part of the charm of podcasting. Check out Kicked Out-‘Pan O Prog’ Parade-Teaching Podcasting-Bob Davis Podcast 740.

Podcasting Is Growing Up

I am joined by an old friend on this podcast.

‘Jack’ is an instructor at a swanky eastern university. He teaches broadcasting. Because so many more people are listening to podcasts these days, I wonder why he still teaches young adults radio.

Rather than take the bait, Jack tells us about teaching his kids broadcasting and podcasting. Above all broadcasters in general have taken a sudden and intense interest in podcasting.

Furthermore when an industry on the ropes like broadcast starts taking a serious look at a disruptor there’s only one conclusion. We’re growing up, podcasters.

Summer Is Good For Seeing Old Friends And Doing Podcasts With Them

Finally Summer! Staying up late. Lighting the Tiki Torches. Sitting on the deck. Getting kicked out of a parade!

When the weather is this good, nothing bad can touch you.

Podcast 523-Jason Lewis

Podcast 523-Jason Lewis. Join Mobile Podcast Command Unit 8 in the Pan-O-Prog parade in Lakeville, Minnesota. If you’re running for office, or working for someone running for office, regardless of party affiliation, you’re walking in parades, driving in parades, or handing out literature at parades all over your district, and you’ll be doing so until right around State Fair time in the land of ten thousand lakes. The Panorama of Progress parade in Lakeville dates back to 1967. Lakeville is in the heart of Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District where a big political fight is brewing. It isn’t a fight between republicans and democrats, but a fight between republicans. Four candidates are vying for the seat being vacated by the retirement of Congressman John Kline. The trouble started before the CD2 Endorsing convention when Kline endorsed Darlene Miller instead of Jason Lewis. Some believe Kline’s problem stems from comments made by Jason Lewis on The Bob Davis Podcasts regarding Iran and US Foreign Policy. I would urge critics to actually listen to what Lewis said by searching ‘Jason Lewis’ in the search window on my website (thebobdavispodcasts.com) rather than using liner notes or taking the so called party line. As it pertains to foreign policy, I have said many times, it’s going to take independent and thoughtful congressmen, senators, presidents, career diplomats, defense and foreign policy experts to develop a new foreign policy for the United States. The old plug-and-play approach to foreign policy, or the best of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s strategies isn’t going to work in a multi-polar world. Military commitments have to be considered in the light of what the knock-on effects of those interventions might mean, something our government really didn’t do very well when the US invaded Iraq and Afghanistan. Some might argue, this is the root of what ruined the GOP’s chance to succeed George W Bush, or to limit Barack Obama to one term. In the aftermath of the Ron Paul revolution in republican politics, as well as wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the development of ISIS, the Arab Spring, Syria, emerging economies, China and Russia, we need a new approach to defense and foreign policy. The problem is, as I have said, foreign policy doesn’t come out of a can. In this podcast, we ride in the parade with Jason Lewis supporters, who commandeered Mobile Podcast Command’s PA System (I didn’t care, I wanted to ride in the parade anyway, and this doesn’t constitute an endorsement. Jason is a friend of mine, and I think he’s great, but you go ahead and vote for anyone you want!) so you can hear a campaign in progress, and then we’re joined by Jason to talk about the campaign, the Primary Challenge on August 9th, focusing on trade and the economic challenges for everyday Americans, on a brilliantly sunny afternoon in July, in Lakeville Minnesota. Enjoy riding in a parade in Podcast 523-Jason Lewis. Sponsored by Ryan Plumbing and Heating of Saint Paul and Karow Contracting, Storm Damage Specialists.
