In 2009 the arab spring had not happened, Iran was nowhere near going nuclear, unrest had not spread to Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, and Syria. From time to time I do these foreign policy checks, with the focus this time on North Korea. Have things changed? Gotten worse? Or is it the same as it ever was?

Unrest in Iran back in 2009 is the subject of this podcast. This was the beginning of the Arab Spring but since it was in Iran, the administration didn’t say a word about it. Contrast this with Syria, Libya, and now Egypt. Still getting to know the format, the tools and what you can and cannot do with podcasting. This is the second podcast, made the day after protests in the streets of Tehran, Iran.
