Full disclosure. I don’t dance. I don’t know anything about Salsa. So I brought my recorder and microphones. In this podcast I let the dancers, instructors and Salsa experts tell the story.

More importantly learning Salsa Dancing deepens the experience. There is a history and culture to it. People who Salsa regularly learn the culture with the steps.

Light And Energy

Finally not only is it a fun and social experience, there’s a huge amount of light and energy to the room.

Salsa On The Upswing

In conclusion Salsa and so called partner dancing is cyclical. Its Cuban history, additions from Latin America and the United States over the years are some of the reasons it’s on the upswing in Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
