Podcast 101

People seem to like it when we talk about radio on The Bob Davis Podcasts. In Podcast 101, we’re joined by my friend and Emerson College instructor Jack Casey. Emerson is one of the most respected schools for media arts in the country, and Jack runs the Broadcast Radio program there, and oversees the student run radio station WERS-FM. We talk about the business, tell some stories, talk about radio today, what Jack tells his students and more. Sponsored by Ryan Plumbing and Heating of Saint Paul.

Podcast 100

A slice of political life, in midwinter 2014 just before the political campaign season begins in Minnesota. Podcast 100 features a montage of politicians, activists and media people discussing conservative messaging at a Tea Party event. Rather than play the whole event, it has been edited down to its essence; It’s almost like a time capsule. Listen to it now, in the fall of 2014 and after the election of 2014, to see if it portends wins or losses. Sponsored by Baklund R&D. Also, an oversight in the podcast…We were also joined by The Taxpayers League of Minnesota head former Minnesota Senator Ted Lillie. Ted was a late addition to the panel, and I did not mention him in the podcast, although he contributed greatly to the panel.

Podcast 99

Skype Test! People have been telling me I have to do interviews and interact with people on the podcasts. In order to do that, I have to test Skype in use with my other technical elements. So, podcast 99 is the first “call-in” Bob Davis Podcast, featuring some of the listeners of the Bob Davis Podcasts. We talk about the coke commercial in the Super Bowl, Obama Care, Herb Brooks, and I’m sorry to say, the weather. With Special Guest Mitch Rossow who will share some of the latest download stats on the Bob Davis Podcasts (Very Good News). Sponsored By X Government Cars.
