Podcast 102

I meant to post this Podcast in the early morning hours of 2/21/14, but a snowstorm knocked out the Internet! Back up and running and posting later on this day. In the midst of the storm, the big stories of the week and a look ahead. While Jack Frost ‘eats the profits’ of America’s corporations (nonsense, of course, economic data is still weak and they keep trying to find explanations for it, which get more and more absurd as time goes on), the FCC wants to put ‘researchers’ in newsrooms, there are some bright spots including getting ahead on Fusion Reaction, a ‘conservative’ new mayor in San Diego, California , the UAW loses a big one in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and a few thoughts on my favorite new show; House of Cards. Skype Test! People have been telling me I have to do interviews and interact with people on the podcasts. In order to do that, I have to test Skype in use with my other technical elements. So, podcast 99 is the first “call-in” Bob Davis Podcast, featuring some of the listeners of the Bob Davis Podcasts. We talk about the coke commercial in the Super Bowl, Obama Care, Herb Brooks, and I’m sorry to say, the weather. With Special Guest Mitch Rossow who will share some of the latest download stats on the Bob Davis Podcasts (Very Good News). Sponsored By X Government Cars.

A snow and ice storm in Atlanta provides a great example of government incompetence juxtaposed against a stage-managed “State of The Union” address from a President struggling to prove competence. Sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. My final thoughts on the State of the Union and discussion of the disconnect between what people are experiencing in America, how they’re expressing it, versus the perfumed princes and princesses in Washington D.C.
