First of all I started nomad life out with a podcast the very first night I was on the road.

Fourth Year Of Nomad Travel Coming Up

Second of all I am fully embracing a fourth year on the road starting in November 2023.

That is to say I have made a full commitment to so called nomad life.

Altogether these commemorative podcasts provide a record of observations and stories about my life on the road.

Certainly I will not have a full list of those to thank.

But the names that come up here I will assume fit this particular podcast.

Crazy

Above all many people ask me about all the ‘crazy’ people and situations I must encounter.

However sometimes the almost mundane nature of our lives as nomads might surprise those back in the world.

Change

In fact the change we encounter is more significant personally than anything else about this life.

Pace

The pace of travel and my life have changed in these three years without a doubt.

Positive

Surprisingly positive change.

Depth

One point often overlooked is the depth and quality of the relationships we form out here.

Face Value

Even more the fact that people accept you at face value.

Same Plane

That is to say we meet and begin our friendships on the same plane.

In The Moment

Regardless of who we thought we were or what we may have done what’s important is who we are in the moment while out here.

Vistas

Furthermore I wouldn’t trade the vistas I have seen through the windshield for anything.

Of course I have missed a lot of TV Shows in the last three years.

Timeless

Nevertheless I have gained timeless friendships and life experiences.

Like A Dream

Accordingly it has been more like a dream than anything else.

Not Always Easy

All in all I wouldn’t say it was easy.

But it was easier than staying back in the world.

All things considered if you have something you want to do…

When we do this all of the sudden we become open to experiences that can transform and enlighten.

Points On An Agenda

These days for many travel is a series of points on an agenda.

Once you complete one task you move to the next.

And so on.

Throw The Agenda Away

On the other hand if you throw the agenda away the flow brings sublime experiences.

Control

In fact I have to be shown this again and again by forces beyond my control.

Breakdown At Grand Canyon

And so it is in the Grand Canyon…

When you have a breakdown that requires patience to fix.

Furthermore I have had ample time to take in as much as I want in this amazing place.

Finally we nomads put our vehicles under tremendous stress.

Stress

We never seem to notice we put ourselves under stress in addition.

Stop

Every now and then the Universe says stop.

Certainly we may not want to stop.

However when we do…

Experience

An amazing experience often awaits.

Life Lessons

It’s analogous to life too.

For example how many times do we miss details or experiences because we’re ‘just too busy’.

Details On The First Half Of September

In detail I planned to camp for the first half of September in New Hampshire.

Rain

But it poured rain.

And camping is no fun in the rain.

Of course when conditions change plans change.

Notwithstanding the first half of September in New Hampshire was spectacular.
