Winter Stories-Grand Solar Minimum-Bob Davis Podcast 810

These days almost everyone across the US thinks their winter has been cold. People in the Upper Midwest have really experienced cold. Especially relevant? It may be about to get a lot colder. Learn more in Winter Stories-Grand Solar Minimum-Bob Davis Podcast 810.

Solar Cycle 25

Ever since Rudolf Wolf started measuring solar cycles back in 1755 they’ve been counting them. Solar Cycles last roughly 11 years, and we are just about to enter Solar Cycle 25.

Maunder Minimum

Moreover there’s more than just an 11 year cycle when it comes to the sun. During the Maunder Minimum, from 1645 to about 1715 solar activity was pretty quiet. Check out Winter Stories-Grand Solar Minimum-Bob Davis Podcast 810.

Little Ice Age

The Maunder Minimum is often referred to as a ‘Little Ice Age’. During this time London’s famous Thames River froze solid. Let’s just say it wasn’t a good time. Some scientists believe we are about to have another minimum. They call it a Grand Solar Minimum. Others refer to this predicted period of low solar activity as a ‘Super’ Solar Minimum.

Climate Change Activists Say It’s A Myth

Full disclosure. Global Warming Theory and Climate Change activists think predictions of cooler temps during a potential solar minimum is a dangerous myth.

A New Ice Age

Sun Cycle 25 begins in 2020. Professor Zharkovia, Doctor Helen Popova and Professor Simon Shephard and Doctor Sergei Zharkov all predict we could have a new ice age by 2030. Batten down the hatches.

If Cold Isn’t Enough There’s Always The Magnetic Field

In addition solar minimums can effect the Earth’s Magnetic fields in chaotic ways. Recently You Tubers have posted many videos suggesting a weakening magnetic field could mean multiple and drifting magnetic fields. Ultimately, they say, it could lead to an actual shift in the 23 degree tilt of the Earth’s axis.

What About Human Behavior

As we head toward sun cycle 25 we’re already in the early stages of the weakening magnetic field. How will this cycle effect our weather? How might sun cycles effect human behavior?

Weekend Update! What starts as a weekend update ends up as a romp through the mind of Bob Davis. Oh yeah, this podcast looks at the latest numbers for Clint Eastwood’s winning ‘American Sniper’, and suggests petty Hollywood Envy is perhaps behind much of the snark. The fact that people are getting sub-prime and insanely long auto loans, goosing new car sales and endangering the financial system is a concern of Honda, which says it will not offer 84 month loans, concerned its customers might end up so upside down they won’t be able to buy another car for like, a while. And an Asteroid Fly-By has NASA atwitter since 2004 BL86 (that’s its name) is huge and is coming very close to earth this weekend. Don’t worry, it’s path takes it almost a million miles away from the Earth — well outside the orbit of the moon — but it would be crazy if an asteroid like this one hit the earth, wouldn’t it? Thus begins the listener’s off the rail journey, discussing bad documentaries on Netflix, Nazis and the Final Solution, stories and movies which might include asteroids hitting the earth and turning Minneapolis and Saint Paul into an equatorial (and wonderfully tropical) paradise, aliens living on the moon, or maybe its human beings on the moon ’cause they have a time machine, alien women in spacecraft and more. So. Much. More. Closing it all out, another ice age is on the way since there have been no sun spots and according to scientists, the last time this happened was the 17th century, when people wore ermine collars, and we can’t forget the rich environmentally conscious Davos attendees this weekend, shelling out forty thousand dollars a head to attend this ridiculously useless conference to complain about inequality, and global warming, and rub elbows with Pharrell Williams and Al Gore. Sigh. Get your weekend started right, with the Bob Davis Podcasts. Don’t forget to join Bob Davis this weekend at the SD-61 Chili Dinner AND CONTEST in South Minneapolis, Sunday January 25th. The coldest summer on record? Updates to begin the last week of July, and it already feels like Labor Day in the Upper Midwest! Despite all the condemnations, Russia’s President Putin is ratcheting up the pressure in Ukraine, where ‘Drunken Separatists’ are apparently making calls and using the credit cards of the victims of the downing of MH-17, literally adding insult to injury. The US issues ‘evidence’ the Russians have been firing artillery, or missiles (or what?) into Ukraine. What does this ‘evidence’ prove? And what does the US President intend to do? What about Europe? As we wait for economic data on the 2nd Quarter, suddenly economists are hedging their bets. Remember when all the US economic woes were because of the polar vortex last winter. Apparently it continues. This is now the coldest summer on record. Maybe that will be the reason, if new numbers show the US economy in contraction. Wind Power kills birds, and a meeting in Bloomington over the weekend discussed this, but a ‘conservative’ approach to wind power saves the day? Really? More junk polls from Gallup and CNN. People are now saying they wished Mitt Romney had won the 2012 election? A little late for that now, huh? The Federal Government is stopping bake sales, because of nutrition issues, and a final shot at Comic Con. College Aged antics are one thing, but a 65 year old chidult trying to scare a car full of deaf people? Sponsored by X Government Cars!
