Nomad-Uses-Downtime-Bob Davis Podcast 978

Firstly how a nomad uses downtime is key. Most importantly a family emergency has pulled me off the road for the short term. Learn how I plan to use the time in Nomad-Uses-Downtime-Bob Davis Podcast 978.

Secondly truth be told; I am already hearing the highway song.

On the other hand I am finding some valuable uses for this time.

Certainly I am never restless on the road.

And I was surprised to find myself sleeping more deeply no matter where I stopped for the night.

To clarify I’ll just say there is a beautiful simplicity to being a nomad. I am never bored and I welcome each day’s brand new challenge.

On the other hand now that I am ‘static’ the challenge is how not to go stir crazy.

Therefore Nomad-Uses-Downtime-Bob Davis Podcast 978 is about using this time to take care of my family. Even more to plan and prepare for when the adventure begins anew!

As the result of this experience I really believe now that travel raises our consciousness significantly. There are interesting ties to near death experiences I talk about in this podcast.

Consequently I have been able to produce yet another podcast that doesn’t ruin the great travel vibe with political chatter. Nothing makes me happier.

In short while these are difficult times the nomad in me remains optimistic and excited about returning to the back roads again.

In conclusion while nomads have enough trouble defending their lifestyle to relatives, there’s a powerful urge to plan, prepare, repair and revive.

My mom wouldn’t have it any other way.

Gulfcoast Winter Beach Life

Most important Gulfcoast Winter BeachLife can get cold. But it’s still a lot better than winter in Minnesota. Learn more in Gulfcoast-Winter-BeachLife-Bob Davis Podcast 970.

Redneck Riviera

Firstly I’ve been cruising the Gulf Coast. Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and now Texas. Better known as ‘The Redneck Riviera’.

Changing Weather And Time Zones

Secondly I’ve passed through warm and cold weather. Spent some cold nights on the beach.

Hurricane Damage

Even more there’s a lot of hurricane damage down here. A lot.

A Lot To Like On The Gulfcoast

However there is a lot to like about some of the beaches and beach towns along the way.

Port Aransas, Texas

For example my favorite Texas beach down is Port Aransas. I’m camped out on a beautiful beach. When I did Gulfcoast-Winter-BeachLife-Bob Davis Podcast 970, it was in the 80’s and sunny.

Sand Storm On The Beach

On the other hand that night there was a lot of wind. There were sand drifts around Mobile Podcast Command in the morning and it got pretty good.

Getting Stuck At Matagorda

In the same vein, I got stuck on another one of my favorite beaches but managed to get myself unstuck.

Never The Same

In short no no single beach remains the same from one visit to the next.

Taking My Time

Above all the biggest challenge I still face is taking my time.

Hundreds Of Miles

Certainly I am capable of driving hundreds of miles a day. I’ve done it before.

Nomad Experience

On the other hand hundreds of miles a day is not really what the nomad experience is all about.

No Going ‘Home’

For instance I don’t have to ‘go home’.

No Hurry

Moreover while I have a loose schedule there’s no hurry.

Lessons Just Keep Coming

In conclusion the life lessons just keep coming in this effort. Join me on the beach to talk about the experience so far and hear the next objectives in Gulfcoast-Winter-BeachLife-Bob Davis Podcast 970.

Living Life On The Road

So it’s time for an easy talker in a continuing report on living life on the road.

Best. Idea. Ever.

Certainly I am still sure getting rid of everything I owned and hitting the road is still the best idea I’ve ever had. For me!

Pure Bliss

Above all those moments considering my new found freedom are pure bliss.

And Some Pain

On the other hand making silly mistakes can end in a lot of pain.

What’s The Mission On The Road

These days I find myself thinking more deeply about the actual reason for my decision to hit the road.

Experienced Traveler

Most importantly I felt called in some way to do this. Certainly I’ve traveled a lot in the last few years. Sometimes for months at a time.

Life On The Road

So I am no stranger to life on the road.

Home?

On the other hand I always ‘had’ to come ‘home’.

Home Is Here. Now.

Now home is where I happen to be on any given day.

Freedom?

Many people i talk to yearn for that kind of freedom.

Reason For the Adventure

However for me, there has to be a reason for this adventure. Find out why I say this in Nomad-Life-Pleasure-Pain-Bob Davis Podcast 966.

What’s The Mission?

To sum up, this is an adventure. This is a mission. I’m just not quite sure what it is right now.

Finding It Together

In conclusion I guess I’d say we’ll find it together. In a sense that’s what these podcasts are all about…and that’s my pleasure!

Not to mention enjoying an endless summer this winter.
