Favorite-Summer-Roadtrips-Bob Davis Podcast 1163

Favorite Summer Roadtrips

Firstly how about three favorite summer roadtrips to ease your mind? Details in Favorite-Summer-Roadtrips-Bob Davis Podcast 1163.

Secondly holiday travel trips are usually short distance.

For example Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day.

However in high summer there’s nothing like a mega road trip to ease your mind…

And make life great again.

A Series Of Roadtrips

Above all so called nomad life is really a series of roadtrips.

So after ten years traveling and five years on the road full time I can give you some ideas to work with.

Modern Life Pressure

Another key point is the pressure many people feel with modern life.

Therefore the need for longer trips is a consideration.

Exploration and Travel

In addition anyone will learn from exploration and travel.

Go With The Flow

By the same token I think longer trips help is ease into going with the flow.

More Fun

And going with the flow means more fun as a result.

Three Roadtrips

Finally I chose these three trips as a general idea.

All Over The US

That is to say they’re designed generally so you can access them pretty much no matter where you are in the United States.

On the other hand a lot of my travels recently have been in the Southwestern United States.

Because I don’t like to do repetitive content these are different ideas.

Route 2 Across The Northern Tier

Accordingly the first trip takes us to Glacier National Forest on US 2 from the Midwest.

Of course you might want to go all the way to Seattle.

The Outer Banks

Secondly there’s nothing like the Outer Banks on the Atlantic.

Eventually taking us from Northern Florida, Georgia, South Carolina all the way to North Carolina.

To be sure there are beaches…

And long Ferry Rides.

These features coupled with the history make this a great roadtrip.

The Red Neck Riviera

Thirdly another coastal trip.

But this one is along the Gulf Coast.

Specifically The Red Neck Riviera.

That is to say the coastal roads from Tallahassee all the way to Mobile, Alabama.

By all means this is one I like to take every time I head west.

Beaches…Food…History

On the positive side there’s plenty of beaches, food and lodging along the way.

Not to mention plenty of history.

All things considered these are my suggestions for some real fun and an escape this summer.

New-Day-Headed-SouthWest-Again-Bob Davis Podcast 1114

New-Day-Headed-SouthWest-Again-Bob Davis Podcast 1114

Firstly it’s a new day headed southwest again and back on the road. After spending a month in New England there’s a lot to review and talk about in New-Day-Headed-SouthWest-Again-Bob Davis Podcast 1114.

Details On The First Half Of September

In detail I planned to camp for the first half of September in New Hampshire.

Rain

But it poured rain.

And camping is no fun in the rain.

When Conditions Change

Of course when conditions change plans change.

Notwithstanding the first half of September in New Hampshire was spectacular.

Beaches and Mountains

To explain there were visits to the beach and mountains.

Good Food

As well as a lot of good eating.

Finally most of those experiences are explained in previous podcasts here.

Back On The Road Feels Brand New

Secondly getting back out on the road after only about three weeks feels brand new.

Headed Southwest

Especially when I am headed Southwest.

All in all getting back in the travel and recording groove is surprisingly unfamiliar.

Live From The Forest

So live from the Allegheny National Forest I update podcast subscribers and listeners.

History and Experiences

With this in mind there’s some discussion of the history of the national forests.

And a review of some of experiences at the end of summer in New England.

Brunch On The Atlantic

Afterwards topped off with an emotional family and wedding experience.

Ending with a fabulous brunch on the Atlantic Ocean.

Hit The Road

Thereafter I hit the road with a vengeance.

Three States

Subsequently covering three states before finally getting to the Allegheny National Forest.

Feels Good

Above all I can’t believe how good it feels to be back on the back roads!

Nomad Life Is Good

As a result New-Day-Headed-SouthWest-Again-Bob Davis Podcast 1114 includes some observations about Nomad Life.

Behind The Windshield

For one thing I continue to be amazed at how different the back road world is from behind a windshield.

Rather than what we think the world is like scrolling….

Freewheeling Podcast

By and large this podcast is freewheeling.

Stories and Plans

In any event I’ll tell you some stories and share some plans.

Recording Summer Sounds For Years

Secondly since around 2015 I have been recording summer sounds.

Spring Is Around The Corner

And then when spring seems right around the corner.

But Winter Is Still Here

But winter proves resilient.

Time For Summer Sounds

It’s time for a Summer Sounds Podcast.

Immersed In Summer

Above all listening to these summer sounds podcasts immerse the listener in summer.

Colorado

Whether it is a beautiful Mountain Town in Colorado.

Ten Thousand Feet Up

Or the delicious sound of the wind on a ten thousand foot mountain peak.

Lakeside

Certainly the sounds lakeside.

Bugs

The bug and birds.

Truck Stops and Lawn Mowers

Finally a truck stop in the southwest somewhere, a lawn mower and a drum circle.

Monsoon

Of course there’s a full on summer monsoon storm in Utah and the sound of the crackling campfire.

No Talk

Furthermore after the introduction there’s no talk until we say goodbye near the end of this podcast.

Winter Can Be Just Too Much

To sum up when we get this close to warmer weather it seems like winter can be just too much.

Loam Of Summer’s Eve Beckons

Even more the loam of a summer evening is immersive and peaceful in the midst of a difficult time.

Love Producing Summer Sounds

I enjoy producing these podcasts as much as I hope you enjoy listening to them.

A Life Outside

In addition now that I travel full time I am outside all the time and all through the seasons.

Grateful For The Back Roads

Above all I am grateful I’ve had the opportunity to experience the mountain peaks, small towns, national parks and back roads of the United States these past years.

Wild Things

In the same vein there’s a lot of wild things to see and hear.

Great To Share

And it’s great to be able to share with subscribers and listeners.

Original Content

In conclusion it gets more difficult every podcast to do something original.

Certainly when you’ve done over a thousand podcasts.

And when the standard talk topics we hear out there don’t fit in this venue anymore.

Passion For Travel

On the other hand I know we all share the passion for travel and the desire to hit the road.

Even if it’s just every now and then.

Especially during the glorious summer months.

Headphones On

In short grab a beverage, put on your headphones and turn it up.

Prepare to be transported to the peak of summer.

Even if it’s just forty minutes.
