Most importantly while people value authenticity, there isn’t much of it around.

Thought Processes of Creating

Certainly I consider thought processes as a part of creating content.

Lots of Content

On the other hand there’s a lot of content on various platforms.

Not Genuine

Even more much of this content doesn’t seem genuine, creative or authentic.

No Time To Think and Dream

To clarify I don’t think content creators have enough time to think and dream.

Too Busy To Create!

In short many creators are too ‘busy’ to create.

Enter the nomad lifestyle.

Above all there’s no tether for the nomad. There’s no ‘coming home’. Because the nomad is home where ever he is.

The Zen Of Nomad Life

Moreover I’ve learned there is a zen to this life.

More Time Somehow

In the same vein there’s more time think and to think about what you’re thinking about!

In Depth

At least that is how I have experienced it. And, I talk about it in depth in Authentic-Creativity-Nomad-Travel-Bob Davis Podcast 989.

Untethered

Finally there is something about the pace of ‘untethered‘ travel.

Whim Is Real

For example the ability to decide to go South or North, East or West depending on your whim.

Time Slows Down

In other words time does slow down. You are alone with your thoughts.

No Peace In Today’s Culture

To sum up sometimes it seems as though you can’t get a moment’s peace in our day to day culture.

Not Easy

For instance we’re always listening to watching something. Texting. Communicating. Stop and go traffic.

In addition it feels like most people are just irritated just about all the time.

Nothing Is Easy

Not A Care In The World

Likewise I have had some bad days traveling but for the most part it’s like I don’t have a care in the world.

Happy?

In short the other day someone asked me if I was happy.

“Happier than I have ever been”, I said.

Happy-Nomad-New-Year-Bob Davis Podcast 974

Certainly we can all agree this New Year is a Happy Nomad New Year. In addition saying goodbye to 2020 and heralding 2021’s arrival takes a different tone. Join me from Organ Pipe National Monument for Happy-Nomad-New-Year-Bob Davis Podcast 974.

Most importantly if you’d told me last year at this time I’d be on the road permanently in a twenty year old ambulance I wouldn’t have believed it. But here I am!

Firstly this moment calls for a more sedate and perhaps philosophical tone.

Secondly I’m down here in Arizona at a campground. There’s not a lot of social interplay going on.

Meanwhile I am live from Organ Pipe National Monument. Local Arizonans told me this used to be the most dangerous park of all. Well, the Ambassador explained the origins of that moniker. I’ll fill you in during Happy-Nomad-New-Year-Bob Davis Podcast 974.

On the other hand there’s a lot to think about this New Year’s.

Most importantly a blanket ‘thank you’ to clients and supporters of the podcast, especially since I started traveling full time.

But there’s also the undeniable feeling we’re living through one of those epochal changes.

Therefore a new time line. Even more, new ways of thinking.

To sum up it feels like heavy attachment to any one thing, or way of thinking, makes this journey even more difficult.

In the same vein this has been a theme in my podcasts for a while now.

For example the shift away from political talk to travel and other topics. I’ll explain how fresh and freeing it feels to me not to discuss topics that won’t win anyone over and will do nothing but divide listeners and subscribers more than they already are.

However I don’t let go of those subjects lightly. In short I am not a light talker or thinker. And despite all the talk of 2021 having to be ‘amazing’ just because 2020 was ‘so bad’ seems a little silly to me.

Certainly I hope things get better but there are no guarantees. Truth is it could get worse. We just don’t know.

Meanwhile the park is settling down. People are starting their fires. Kids being called back. Hikers are back from the trail.

In conclusion given the fact that there won’t be any big celebrations as it previous years, hanging here at a National Park inside Mobile Podcast Command, seems like a great idea.

In addition it feels great.

Method To The Madness

To clarify I’ve done all this for a reason. The next chapter of my life and these podcasts is about to begin.

Extreme Steps

During the whole clean up effort before a move on my end, I planned the next step.

In addition it’s an extreme step.

And it will rock.

Bored With Everything?

Above all much of my boredom and restlessness recently has to do with the present media situation and how it covers the so called news. Even more, how it covers and talks about everything.

America Is In High Anxiety About The Future

Likewise many of my friends have indicated a high level of anxiety about the future.

Likewise and especially how our media talks about the cartoon show we call politics and news.

Time To Change Focus

To sum up this podcast, I’m not going to say what I am going to do just yet, but it will change the focus of the podcasts slightly.

Taking Action

I can say that I am not going to sit here and do nothing.

I’m taking action.

I’m reclaiming my life

Dynamic Content

Finally I look forward to more dynamic content in these podcasts after what we laughingly refer to as an election.

In conclusion I’ve talked about reclaiming the spirit and passion of my life for along time.
