Black Seed Oil-Double Dip Yoga Challenge-Mind Over Matter-Mandela Effect-Podcast 725

It’s over one hundred degrees on Memorial Day weekend in Minnesota. These days, when it’s this hot what does a yogi do? We’ll talk about it in Black Seed Oil-Double Dip Yoga Challenge-Mind Over Matter-Mandela Effect-Podcast 725.

Life Lessons On The Yoga Mat

Especially relevant is the idea of learning life lessons on the yoga mat. Every now and then at the studio where I practice we have something called the Yoga Challenge. Students can do 10, 20 or 30 lessons in a month. Type A’s love a challenge. Even better, why not do thirty classes in less than thirty days? I share my experiences as a student in these podcasts.

Double Dip Challenge

To meet the challenge we have to ‘double dip’, or even ‘Triple Dip’. That means more than once class a day, usually back to back.  Some people think those of us who do this are crazy. However I have learned some important lessons pushing myself to ‘win’ the challenge.

Consciousness or Brain Power?

Most noteworthy is an increase in consciousness. If you feel giddy after one power yoga, hot yoga or yoga sculpt class, imagine how you will feel after two? We get into it in Black Seed Oil-Double Dip Yoga Challenge-Mind Over Matter-Mandela Effect-Podcast 725.

Mind Over Matter

Moreover after a few days of double dipping it’s really a challenge to keep going. I never understood the often heard phrase “mind over matter“. Thought it was some kind of voodoo. But something happened this week during my double dips that taught me once and for all what ‘mind over matter’ really means. What’s more, it’s a lesson that carries into life off the mat as well.

The Wonders Of Black Seed Oil

This month I have also added Black Seed Oil to my regimen. I discovered Black Seed Oil on You Tube. I’m telling all my friends about this stuff and they aren’t even paying me!

Not The Mandela Effect!

Finally, the overall effect of all this yoga is an elevated consciousness. I’ve been here before. You don’t sleep very much. Hearing and sense of smell is elevated. Ringing in the ears. You feel great all the time. Sometimes though, thoughts appear in your head that make you question reality. (Thankfully the challenge will be over soon and I will come back down to earth!) I’ll tell you about something called the Mandela Effect in Black Seed Oil-Double Dip Yoga Challenge-Mind Over Matter-Mandela Effect-Podcast 725.

Podcast 467 – Rick Barry

Rick Barry. One of the all time NBA greats joins the Bob Davis Podcasts live from South Carolina. It may be a bit of a departure for me to talk about sports, but really it’s Rick talking about sports, and so much more. For some the campaign trail is endlessly exciting, but when you see the same thing over and over again in produced events and stump speeches, a departure helps with campaign fatigue. Rick Barry also helps transition the podcasts into the travel/adventure part of this trip, as we prepare to head down to the Florida Keys. Barry’s emphasis on preparation and the basics of the game helped him become a Hall of Fame basketball star, playing in the ABA and the NBA. His experience informs his positions on the game and the league today as well as a good portion of this podcast spent on politics. Rick is a no nonsense guy when it comes to his experience and knowledge of the game. His opinions about talk radio are particularly enlightening, when considering callers as well as hosts. Then onto some trivia. Why did Barry shoot an underhanded free throw? Why did Wilt Chamberlain stop shooting this way? How did Rick learn to shoot this way? He talks about his father, a semi pro player and coach, and his values. I think this is a great lesson for anyone trying attempting to fulfill their God given talents in almost anyway. I learned a lot talking to Rick Barry, and we come from completely different worlds. The first thing I said to him was, “I hope you aren’t offended, I don’t know anything about sports.” I don’t think he was too impressed (LOL). Barry is known as one of the most opinion players in the NBA and he doesn’t disappoint in this podcast. ‘t any case it is a great sit with a legend who shares my passion concerning Hydrus. And…if I don’t say so myself it’s hard to believe you can do a mobile podcast from a truck, and it sounds like the studio. Thank you Rick for taking the time to do the interview and to meet me. It was a pleasure. Also sponsored by Pride of Homes and Luke Team Real Estate.

Podcast 400

Scoutmaster Tribute. Live from North Central Wisconsin, best friends who grew up together pay tribute to a father to one, and a scoutmaster to the other. Both friends are eccentric enough, as was the father and scoutmaster. Their conversation takes place at a rural hideaway built with anything that could be scrounged, or used. The setting sparks a conversation about what they learned in scouts. In ‘Stand By Me’ Stephen King’s narrator says that the friendship’s he forged around twelve or thirteen were the strongest of his life, that he never had friends like that again, and wondered if anybody does. Through thick and thin, on and off through the years two friendships have been the most important to me, largely because of our experiences camping with the Boy Scouts, and for me, especially because of our scoutmaster, who also happened to be my best friend’s dad. Sure he was eccentric, but he taught us all so many great lessons. Later he built a complex of crazy quilt cabins — where this podcast was recorded — which are packed with every kind of thing you can imagine, from every kind of era, and who knows where he got most of them. He never said no to anyone who offered something they didn’t want anymore — and most of that stuff is up in Wisconsin. Given the current situation, all commentary on politics these days sounds like an echo chamber. It’s nice to sit outside on a classic hot summer day in the middle of nowhere in North Central Wisconsin, and talk about things that are, or were real. Friendships that last a lifetime, friends who are as much family as they are friends, experiences we’ll never forget, and people we met over the years who were real characters. After all, aren’t friendship and family the most important things anyway. Sponsored by X Government Cars
